› The Funk Campaign Welcomes Jim Gibbons into the Race

I’ve always lived by the mantra that competition makes you better…so I’d like to personally welcome ex-ISU wrestling coach Jim Gibbons into the race for Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District seat. At the end of the day, we’re both shooting for the same goal…the removal of Leonard Boswell from office. Whether entering a wrestling tournament, or on final approach to a foggy military runway, we both understand that a special blend of skill, integrity, and leadership are necessary to bring home the victory.

As we progress through our respective campaigns, the voters of the 3rd district will be given ample opportunity to draw distinctions between us. Thank you for your support in our efforts to unseat a Representative who’s stopped…representing.
