› Gibbons on Boswell, No Real Solutions

Coach Gibbons it’s true, that the estate tax is a double-tax on the American people and Congressman Boswell voted “to retain the estate tax with a $3,500,000 exemption.”

This is especially peculiar because back in 2001 Boswell voted YES “to pass a bill that would gradually reduce revenue by $185.5 billion over 10 years with a repeal of the estate tax by 2011.“  This flip-flop behavior explicitly shows Boswell’s support for whoever is seemingly ahead in politics and his complete disregard for his constituents.

Mr. Gibbons:  You bring up the right issue but lack any real solution.  The Immoral Death Tax must be repealed.  There is little logic on our current tax code; especially double taxing the American people.  This doesn’t stimulate economic growth.  This doesn’t help us live the American dream. We need to repeal the death tax now and fix our crooked tax code that has been benefiting no one and cheating everyone.
