Des Moines, IA-Recently, Mexican President Calderon gave an address to the U.S. Congress.
Though Dave Funk supports President Calderon’s remarks about curbing drug trafficking, he condemns President Calderon’s attempt to inject himself in our lawmaking process. Funk believes President Calderon took a hypocritical stand against United States immigration law and proposed the reinstitution of the failed Clinton “Assault” Weapons Ban –another liberal gun-grab. Funk calls on Rep. Leonard Boswell to condemn these remarks.
Funk said, “I fully support Arizona’s right to enforce national immigration law to protect its citizens and uphold the rule of law. Rep. Boswell and President Obama’s failure to immediately reject President Calderon’s statements is further proof of how out of step both of these men are with the American people.”
