I had gel deodorant, hand sanitizer and rubbing alcohol all of which were larger than 3oz. I didn't do this on purpose, just forgot. They didn't even notice. Same thing happened on my return flight. Ramzi Yousef bombed Philippine Airlines #434 on Christmas of 1994. Nothing has been done since '94 to correct this problem. The TSA came out with the liquid rules, however, they are nothing but theater because all a person has to do is carry the explosives in a pocket or pocket.
